Base Bid – –Demo electrical equipment, control and instrumentation for VF6 tank. –Provide and install programmable logic controllers, electrical equipment, and instrumentation on VF6 tank Option 1 – –Provide four (4) refrigeration units, cold traps, piping, controls and instrumentation (Material only) Option 2 – –Provide installation for material noted in Option 1.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration 5 Rehab of Electric Propulsion Lab Controls, PH2 Implementation –Contractor is responsible for installing, cut-over, and testing (mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation) for Tank 6 vacuum system including master annunciator, LN2 System and cooling tower water system. –Research impacts the window for Implementation. Start date for the shutdown of Tank 6 is 3/1/06 for 33 calendar days. IST (Integrated System Test) is the Government’s responsibility. Contractor to provide support for troubleshooting. –Prep work is crucial to complete prior to shutdown Run conduit and wire for electrical power, controls and instrumentation Mount new instruments

Install mechanical piping and electrical power and control (also miscellaneous subsystem piping Options 1 & 2) Rework existing control panels CN-1 through CN-7, CN-30 through CN-39 and CV-23 through CV-29. Rework shall include internal wiring.
