PROJECT’S NECESSITY AND OPPORTUNITY The necessity of rehabilitation it was because of existing situation, which is characterization from an advanced grade of silting, a bad quality of water from chemical and biological point of view, from accentuation of eutrophization phenomena and uncontrolled waste deposit. The major objective of the project it is the ecologic of five of most important lakes of Bucharest in view to consolidation the touristy potential of those and to attract a new investment and tourists.

The specific objectives of the project are: The rehabilitation of the dams Cleaning and desilting the lakes Consolidation of bank protection Landscaping of area near the lake for integration of this in touristy circuit For accomplish of the project objectives are necessary the works: Remaking the existing dams Ecological and water control from desilting of waste which was accumulated from the beginning of the harnessing to present Remaking the bank protection of lakes Creation the infrastructure necessary in view to reintroduce them in the touristy circuit of Bucharest Like ulterior care activity realization of project it is recommend combating the lake eutrophization in view to improve and conservation a high level of water quality THE SCOPE AND THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
