Food and Exercise analysis Website and/or App for entering food and exercise: -> My Fitness Pal
Analysis of diet and exercise Obj 1: students will be able to utilize the “Myfitnesspal” website/app to enter their food and exercise into the program and analyze their diet Obj 2: Students will describe changes they want to make in their diet and why it’s important to make those changes.
1 st : Create/enter your profile Please use your school and password when creating your account.
2 nd My Fitness Pal Tutorial Video’s 1 st Using the iPad open the 2 nd Watch the following 3 video’s -> Introduction to MyFitnessPal -> Diary Basics ->Barcode Scanning
3 rd : Click on Food Make sure you are using the correct date for your diet and exercise Click the appropriate box for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks and type in or scan in the item that you ate. Make sure you put in the correct serving size for each item you ate. Once this is done, go to the next slide
4 th : Click on Exercise Under Cardiovascular, type in the physical activity you did. Enter how long you performed the activity DO NOT USE THE STRENGTH CATEGORY, it does not calculate calories burned.
5 th : Using the Ipad, Click on the pie chart symbol Click on the nutrient details symbol Then click on “Daily”. Goal= Goal for that time frame entered Left = IN BLACK: what you still need/could consume. = IN RED: where you went over (had too much) PRINT all the dates you logged
