Introduction This presentation is about microphones and their uses. Headsets How it works / what

Originated/what is does. Invented by Emile Berliner in 1877 Transfer sounds, electronic pulses. Record voices or sounds.

Headsets Headphones the include a microphone is more commonly referred as headsets. Headsets to used mostly in call centers or offices. Gamers use these to control their characters while talking. Various programs on the internet require headsets to talk to other people.

How it works. Microphones are a device that converts energy from one form to another. When the membrane instead the microphone vibrates it causes the other components to vibrate also.

What it is made of….. Permanent magnets that are made for microphones are made from a compound called neodymium iron boron. Copper wire is used to make the voice coil and cable
