CLASS MATERIALS ELAMATHSocial StudiesScience ELA Binder Student Agenda Shurley English Workbooks (2) Pencil/Pen Math Binder Student Agenda Pencil Book SS Binder Student Agenda Pencil/Pen Spiral Notebook Student Agenda Pencil/Pen Colored Pencils Glue All other material and textbooks can be left at home or in the classroom Other small supplies, such as scissors and glue, can be kept in pencil pouch/bag Binders should always contain notebook paper

NOTEBOOKS & ORGANIZATION OUR GOALS: TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT STUDENTS ARE COMING TO CLASS EACH DAY PREPARED. TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT STUDENTS ARE ONLY BRINGING WITH THEM WHAT THEY NEED FOR CLASSES. YOU CAN HELP! GO THROUGH YOUR CHILD’S BOOKBAG AND TAKE OUT SUPPLIES OR “EXTRAS” THAT THEY ARE NOT USING ON A DAILY BASIS. MAKE CERTAIN THAT THEIR BOOKBAGS AND BINDERS ARE ORGANIZED - NO “TRASH”.

EXPECTATIONS BEHAVIOR STUDENTS SHOULD NOT TALK WHEN THE TEACHER IS TALKING OR DURING ANNOUNCEMENTS STUDENTS MUST LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS STUDENTS SHOULD REMAIN ON TASK DURING CLASS DRESS CODE SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN JACKETS AND SWEATERS MUST BE NAVY BLUE BOOKBAGS MUST BE NAVY BLUE ROUTINES STUDENTS SHOULD BEGIN WARM-UP AS SOON AS THEY ENTER THE ROOM ALL HOMEWORK IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS ALL HOMEWORK SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN STUDENT AGENDAS

HOMEWORK ROUTINE HOMEWORK IS POSTED ON THE BOARD IN THE CLASSROOM STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO WRITE DOWN HOMEWORK IN EACH CLASS DAILY POLICIES HOMEWORK IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS HOMEWORK MAY NOT BE MADE UP UNLESS THE STUDENT HAS AN EXCUSED ABSENT NO HOMEWORK = ZERO COMMUNICATION PARENTS AND STUDENTS CAN USE THE FOLLOWING TOOLS TO ASSIST IN LOCATING HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: AGENDA D2L REMIND 101 (ELA) REMINDERS
