You will see various ways to use the Elmo Document Camera to display student work.

Teaching Main Ideas & Supporting Details The document camera was used to display a piece of lifted text from the 5 th grade anthology on Mae Jemison. I did a read aloud and showed the class where to find the main ideas and details for each paragraph.

Class Participation A student’s BCR is being displayed and discussed. I was able to show the class how to write a response that identified the main ideas and important ideas. Writing Several students displayed their autobiographies. They adjusted the height of the paper so that those in the far back could read along with them.
