If a student does not complete their homework assignment, it gets recorded in the “No Homework Binder” and the student will take the incomplete assignment to Study Hall to complete it. Every time a student turns in “perfect homework” for ten consecutive days, he or she will be given a homework pass that can be used on any single assignment.

We have three classroom rules: Be respectful Be responsible Be scholarly

Check your student's daily planner for their “color of the day” based on our clip chart! Purple – Role Model Blue – Great Choices Green – Ready to Learn Yellow – Oops! Warning! Orange – Teacher's Choice Red – Study Hall and Parent Contact

Fourth and fifth grade classrooms get to nominate a Student of the Month. The criteria are as follows: All homework is complete and on-time Exemplifies the “pillars of character” Appropriate classroom behavior Library books returned on time

Technolo gy Your student's user names and passwords are in a sheet protector in their homework binder. Feel free to log in to any of the websites and check on their progress! AR and AM goals: 15 points/objectives per trimester (45 per year) Xtra Math: Parent letter in your folder! Almost all writing assignments will be created and stored on Google Docs. Revisions and editing will be done through Teacher Dashboard/Google. Your student's user name and password is also in your parent folder.
