What makes me a good student?

Initiative Look for and take opportunities to be successful –Sport a positive attitude –Keep the end goal in mind – I need to get the credit so I finish high school as quickly as possible !

Responsibility Stay on task –Finish my work and submit it on time –Manage my own behaviour by recognizing when I am infringing on the rights of others

Organization Devise a plan by: – setting priorities while in class – arrive to class prepared – and following them to complete tasks and maximize marks

Self-Regulation Set my own goals and monitor my progress –Always keep the end goal in mind –Be critical of myself –Push myself through challenges –Practice “self-advocacy” I am accountable for my own actions My success depends on me Ask for help if I need it

Collaboration Work well in groups –Avoid conflict with other –Resolve it if it happens –Give everyone the chance for a good mark by not distracting others
