Biography: DOB: March 2,1917DOD: December 2,1986 Desi’s father was the mayor of Santiago (his birth place). The 1933 revolution led by Fulgencio Batista took Desi’s father to jail and the families wealth, property and power was gone. Then his family fled to Miami, Florida Desi's first jobs in America was cleaning canary cages. After forming his little own band, Xavier Cugat hired him and Desi ended up forming his own Latin band.

Biography: In 1940 Desi started both in stage and in the movie called “Too Many Girls” while casting he met Lucille Ball. They soon married and approximately 10 years later they began the “I Love Lucy” shows. They had 2 children called Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. At the end of the “I Love Lucy”(1960)Desi and Lucille got divorced, then he married Edith Hirsch on1963. Later Desi wrote an autobiography called “A Book”. In 1986 he was diagnosed with lung cancer, and died on December 2,1986.
