Roman Catholics will not use any form of contraception that interferes with the natural process of conception. Some other Christians believe that life begins at conception.

Roman Catholics say that sex is only for having babies, so any method of contraception which does not allow the possibility of conception is not allowed. They do allow the rhythm method because this allows the possibility of conception. Other Christians say that sex is also to bring a man and wife closer together so contraception is allowed provided it doesn’t harm a developing foetus, like the morning after pill.

Other Christians, such as Methodists, think that although marriage is special and blessed by God sometimes people make mistakes. They will allow divorce and remarriage. Christians often work fro groups like RELATE who try to overcome difficulties in marriage.
