Popcorn project By Brandon

Explanation  The Scientific Method is an organized way of solving a problem.  Scientists use it to solve a problem that has not been done yet.  I am using popcorn.

state the problem  Will Orville Redenbocker popcorn will pop better or will generic popcorn?

Make your hypothesis  I think the Generic popcorn will pop better.

Identify and control the variables  Variables popcorn control same size bag of popcorn and same time witch was one minute fifty seconds.

Test your hypothesis  First we popped the Orville Redenbocker and then the geneirc popcorn for 1 minute 50 seconds in the same microwave.  Next we took the popcorn out of the and whated for the other one to pop.  After that we counted the popcorn.

Collect your data  I got 130 pieces and Josh got 113 and we added them together and got 243.

Interpret your data  Josh and I got 243 and Eric and Clatyon got 37 1.

State your conclusion  I was wrong The Generic had more than the orvill rednbocker so I was wrong.
