Teaching aims 1.Knowledge and skills Enable the Ss to get the gist of listening materials by catching some topic sentences. Enable the Ss to learn something about Jody Williams and Joan of Arc. 2.Process and strategies Train the Ss’ listening skills through listening 3.Feelings and Value Through the listening materials the Ss will have better understanding of the roles women play in society.

Jane Goodall ( ),Britain She went to Africa and studied chimps. Her research showed the connections between chimps and human beings.
