Overview of today’s activities  Update debrief from yesterday  Class wiki URL  Share completed plug-in samples  Complete Visual Ranking & “Materials Selection” activity worksheet  Work on lesson plan/webquest  Create WebQuest at host website  Link to class wiki at Quest+Wikispaces+Links (due no later than Friday evening, July 09, 2010) Quest+Wikispaces+Links 

Sharing plug-in samples  Share your sample plug-in with two other class members—5 minutes each  Explain the following:  Why you like the plug-in you chose  How the plug-in will be an effective tool to use with your WebQuest  Other uses for this plug-in

Materials Selection Complete “Useful Technology for the Classroom” Let’s return to conventional technology that you can integrate into lesson design and student assignments/projects  Complete materials selection activity  Explore application opportunities for teacher unit/lesson design as well as student products/use on PC computers Complete work digitally or hard copy. Share with instructor

Working Lunch  11:30 AM to 12:30 PM – have lunch and also work on unit, lesson plan or webquest.  Be at your computer station no later than 12:30 PM.

Developing your WebQuest  Use the WebQuest template to create a website draft. Include at least one plug-in  Create an account at  Use information from template to create your online WebQuest. See example on energy drinks at om/ om/ PS: Get extra help/support on your new PBWorks wiki at

Presenting the WebQuest  Prepare for presentations “work in progress”  Share WebQuest with group  Use WebQuest rubric to help with comments  Use model for oral and written feedback  Three compliments  Two questions  One suggestion  Reflect and revise WebQuest

Group debrief, Day 2  What do you know?  What more would you like to know?  How will you learn it?  Share in whole group by brainstorming.  Record responses, participant names, then submit to discussion tab of class wiki.
