构成的规则变化 : 1) 单音节词和少数双音节词 一般在词尾后加 -er 如： cold – colder nice — nicer 2) 重读闭音节词末尾只有一个辅音字母 时, 先双写这个辅音字母, 再加 -er 。 如 : big – bigger thin – thinner 3) 以 “ 辅音字母 + y” 结尾的双音节词， 先改 y 为 i, 再加 -er 。如： easy – easier happy – happier 4) 多音节词和部分双音节词在词 前加 more 或 most 。如： delicious – more delicious interesting – more interesting

比较级规则变化口诀： 比较级，要变化，一般词尾加 er 。 (long-longerer) 词尾若有哑音 e, 直接加 r 就可以。 (nice-nicer) 重读闭音节， 单辅音字母要双写。 (hot-hotterter) 辅音字母若加 y, 记得把 y 变为 i 。 (happy-happierier)
