 Victims of accidents or sudden illness  Patients will visit the emergency room if they experience… fevers, burns, frostbite, infections, strokes, poisoning, sprains, smoke inhalation, shock, breaks, and wounds

 There are many services provided such as…shots, cat scans, stitches, surgery, x- rays, CPR  The hospital provides an ambulance, a rescue squad, first aid squad, and CPR squad

 An ambulance usually cost around $944  To visit the emergency room will cost around $1,265 with you paying around $569  An overnight stay will cost around $1000  A physician will get paid around 100, ,000

 EMTs  Surgeons  Nurses  Emergency physicians

 In 1996 an emergency room visit cost $383  27% of visits to the hospital are children  An average visit will take around 3.2 hours  There are different levels of seriousness (1 being not so serious & 5 being very serious)
