Page: 4Complex embedded solution Introduction Background information Typical project needs about 12 – 18 weeks to production Sharp started intensive promotion in EU end of 2008 only All products available incl. 6,7 W Zenigata New producs in development: - 0,45 W with integrated lense (so colled DOME) - VE line = Value Engineering – bring cost reduction - Kits in preparation (Zenigata + reflector + optical characteristics) in summer Additional wave leghts (4200 for medical application for example...), Sharp is open for new requests but 4200 not planned now SMD versions – OK for 0,5 and 1W, Zenigata not planned as SMD for now Advantages of LED Low power consumption – more than 80 lm/W (Sharp‘s restrictive value) Very long life time - more than hors/80°C = 15 years or more (8h/day typicaly – outdoor application) - more than hors/80°C = 30 years or more (4h/day typicaly – indoor application) spare parts not necessary in principle No problem starting at low temperatures
