 What is a civilization?  An advanced culture.  What is an example of a past civilization?  Romans, Mayans, Egytians, Greeks, Incas, Aztecs etc.

Describe how people came to live in the Americas

 Which two cultures probably explored Americas before Columbus?  Vikings  Australians  Asians  Africans

 Why do we celebrate Christopher Columbus?  Circle the correct answers  He started the slave trade.  He helped set a trend for future explorers.  He was so helpful to the Natives.

 Between 500 – 1350 was the dark ages. Describe how they thought the world was shaped?  They thought the world was flat, and ships would fall off the side if they sailed to far.

 Describe Feudalism.  Type of government where the King / Queen ruled and gave land to people who supported him / her.

 Draw a picture of an object that a Monarch would have.
