This was my first quiz (practice one) This one is actually the Final Quiz, but it will not work.

TThis is a programme that I downloaded for free. Nowadays we can expect that anything we get for free is most probably not up to scratch. Bad quality! The features are limited and this programme is not reliable.

 Freeware (from "free" and "software") is computer software that is available for use at no cost or for an optional fee, but usually with one or more restricted usage rights. Freeware is in contrast to commercial software, which is typically sold for profit. The term does not imply that the software is free and open source software(FOSS). Freeware is a loosely defined category, which includes both closed and open source proprietary software.

 The term shareware is used in contrast to retail software, which refers to commercial software available only with the purchase of a license which may not be copied for others, public domain software, which refers to software not copyright protected, and freeware, which refers to copyrighted software for which the author solicits no payment (though he or she may request donations).

 A single license is a type of copyright that restricts the use of the program to one computer, or one server. This means that the program cannot be installed for free on different computers. Single license is used for more important programs like Microsoft office and Macromedia software.

 A type of software license and a legal agreement that allows users to run the software package simultaneously. The name originally derives from the practice of restricting the use of a particular piece of software by physical site rather than by, e.g. number of copies in use. However, the term "site license" is now commonly used to describe licensing of software to a particular entity which is unrestricted by number, regardless of the physical locations where the software may be used.

 is a software licensing model based on the number of users accessing the program simultaneously. This model allows customers to purchase a number of licenses equal to the largest number of users likely to be active at a given time, rather than the total number of users in the environment.

Advantages:Disadvantages:  No cost  Saves you money  Increased potential for your computer to become infected with spyware  Restricted usage

Advantages:Disadvantages:  Free  Gives the buyers the opportunity to use the program and judge its usefulness before actually purchasing it  More personal service  Only a trial  Limited by any combination of functionality, availability or convenience  Only certain features

Advantages:Disadvantages:  One server  Cannot be installed for free on different computers

Advantages:Disadvantages:  Allows users to run the software package simultaneously.  licensing of software to a particular entity which is unrestricted by number

Advantages:Disadvantages: Allows customers to purchase a number of licenses equal to the largest number of users likely to be active at a given time, rather than the total number of users in the environment. Simplicity promotes deeper account penetration expensive
