I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. - Rom. 12:1-2

Acceptable. Without sin. According to His will. Cost something. Involves: Self-Denial. Self-Discipline.

As a living sacrifice we will “prove” the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Not conformed. Transformed.

God gives us every good gift, Jas. 1:17 Life. Food. Clothing. Shelter. Family.

God offers eternal life through Christ. Forgiveness, Jn. 1:29 Heaven, Jn. 14:1-6 -Worth more than all power. -Worth more than all possessions. -Worth more than all pleasures. Obedience required, Jn. 14:15, 21-23
