Introduction Android Operating system is most popular operating system these days with the advance in voice communications devices. Android system is a operating system that was developed for smart phone. Android was developed to have many of the features of a desktop operating system.

Purpose The purpose of the Android System is to provide software that allow people to make calls and send and receive mails and information Android System allow the user to develop and use application to complete certain task that the uses the hardware like take picture or edit documents

Brief History The first version of Android Operating System was release on 23 September The operating system is based on a version on the Linux kernel. The first phone that it was release on was the g1. Since then there have be minor release for example and major release like 2.3 The upcoming 3.0 will be designed for Tablets.
