Data from one or more sources, such as the Uniformance Plant History Database, can be retrieved. The Trend Display is tag-based—all information you retrieve and view is based on the tags you select and how you customize them. Within the Asset Manager’s Asset Folders, you may view trend information by having the focus on a given asset, symptom, or fault within the tree view pane, and selecting the Trend tab.

ISD-MASP-S06013 Rev.0 Copyright © Yokogawa Electric Corporation 2006/08/03 Confidential Diagnostic Builder The Diagnostic Builder is used to define symptoms and faults, as well as the fault models that specify the symptom conditions necessary to automate fault diagnosis. Another feature of the Diagnostic Builder is the ability to specify repair activities for faults. For example, a high priority work order could be generated to repair a pump once the fault, a leaking seal, has been confirmed. Via the Diagnostic Builder, you may also define a notification activity to be associated with a given symptom or fault alert (i.e., notify personnel when a symptom or fault is present or absent). Wizard support the configuration

ISD-MASP-S06013 Rev.0 Copyright © Yokogawa Electric Corporation 2006/08/03 Confidential 1st Company Invensys product brands enjoy top-tier (typically first, second, or third) status in their respective categories: –Foxboro – process control instrumentation and automation systems –Triconex – safety and critical control systems –SimSci-Esscor – advanced control, simulation, and optimization software –Avantis – enterprise asset management software –Wonderware – plant intelligence and human machine interface software With the introduction of Invensys ’ InFusion enterprise control system, Invensys has accelerated the unification of these and other product capabilities into a common engineering, automation, and application environment. Invensys ’ ArchestrA architecture (a fully industrialized software architecture built on.NET and other advanced Microsoft technologies) provides the “ glue ” for this unification, while advanced information and integration technologies from Microsoft and SAP enable cost-effective integration with enterprise systems, something that was not previously possible. InFusion is also the first system to enable all existing plant-floor systems (Invensys or third party) to be integrated into a common application environment.

Reusable engineering is provided through customizable templates for each device model. The attributes and settings for configuration, upload, download, linked documentation, and setup of on-line views for a given manufacturer and model of device can be engineered once, in the template, and automatically inherited by each individual device. A Commissioning Wizard automates all the steps of device commissioning, making it easy for lesser skilled personnel to easily replace a failed device.

ISD-MASP-S06013 Rev.0 Copyright © Yokogawa Electric Corporation 2006/08/03 Confidential 2nd Company Within Invensys, our definition of asset management and enterprise maintenance management extends to all the critical assets and processes within the environment that contribute to the performance of the plant and ultimately to the performance of the business. We call this approach Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). At the lowest level, this encompasses the device layer and the plant network environment. At the highest level, this extends to the overall performance of the plant against the key performance indicators for the plant and the organization. Our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution set is an integral part of a complete Production Management Environment. Looking at the asset management portion of our overall solution, Invensys offers the Asset Intelligence Suite, encompassing four major components: –Decision support –Enterprise Asset Management –Condition Monitoring –Field Device Management These components each provide strong independent value, but when combined they allow our customers to move to a fully predictive and pro- active maintenance management that allows you to focus on asset and plant performance and the overall return on assets (ROA) of the plant.
