Congruence in Right Triangles Learning Target: I can prove right triangles congruent using HL Theorem

Right Triangles contain ·one right angle ·two legs (sides beside the right angle) ·one hypotenuse (side opposite the right angle) legs hypotenuse *do not assume the legs are congruent right angle

Hypotenuse-Leg Theorem (HL Theorem) If the hypotenuse and a leg of one right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and a leg of another right triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
