 The Impact Factory  Hints and tips for developing public speaking skills  Conclusion MistakesHumorStories EnvironmentTechnology

 Custom-made training program that promotes professional development  Interpersonal business skills, corporate communication, management training, etc.  Teaching staff with background in psychotherapy, business, sports, public and service sectors  Abundant training courses for many well-noted corporations

 Making mistakes is alright!—in other words, try now to scare yourself too much  Recovering from mistakes makes you appear more human and win audience identification How?

 A sense of humor is indispensable!  Tell jokes.  Avoid a punch line that has no punch.  Gentle humour  Self-deprecation- but not too much.  MFNKvLM&feature=related MFNKvLM&feature=related

 Choose the right story for demonstration; understand the force and purpose of the story, and tell it in the most effective way  Use personal experiences to bring your material to life. Find ways to humanize them.  bJ0EGK4R4k bJ0EGK4R4k

 Try to move around a bit on stage  Audience can easily get bored. Moving around a bit livens up the talk.  If you remain center state all the time, it will make you appear constrained and nervous.  The whole stage can be your performance site. Stepping forward toward the audience heightens up their interest. Moving sideways adds variety.

 Use your body and its language  Use gestures or body movements to add stress to your argument, but they should appear to be natural, not staged.  If your space is confined, use your body language to create more power.  Do not use too much gesturing; after all, you want the audience to remember what you said, not just your gesture. 

Use PowerPoint slides or video clips Speak to your audience, not your slides Slides should be graphics and not words Test your equipment beforehand

Set the theme clear and consistent--create a headline that sets the direction for the occasion Provide an outline--open & close each section with clear transitions Demonstrate enthusiasm--a key factor to any appealing and electrifying presentation At the beginning At the middle of the center

Make numbers meaningful by using analogies to help connecting the dots Make your presentation visual by using demos, clips, inviting guests Finally, leave something for your listeners to ponder Practice, practice, practice. Rehearse, rehearse, and rehearse! At the middle of the center Ending

Thank you for your listening
