SAHZU has a strong track record in telemedicine SAHZU hosts the International Telemedicine Center This has become the largest remote consultation centre in China 82 remote consultation hospitals, spread throughout 11 intra- provincial areas More than 7500 primary patients received remote video consultation last year Existing tele-medicine service with UCLA (Joint Academic Center for Diagnosis).

About the project UK hospital tele-oncology second opinion service Review of oncology cases by a multi-disciplinary team The anticipated volume is c400 cases per annum If successful, this service could extend to other specialties The hospital have a robust technical system for tele-medicine in place Also interested in collaborating on academic/clinical research and clinical exchange
