WHY GREEN STAR IS IMPORTANT Green star is importent because if we only used trash the world would be a big trash heap! Here is some ways to help the earth: Reuse: you can reuse by making old stuff into knew stuff. Reduse: Use water bottles and containers instead of packedged stuff. Recycle: If you recycle the earth will be healthy!

Container recycling Glass bottles with jars and lids Aluminum cans and foil Plastic bottles #1-7 with lids Steel (tin) cans Juice/milk cartons and boxes

Paper recycling Magazines, catalogs Cardboard Newspaper Junk mail White or pastel notebook/copy paper Envelopes Index cards Paper board (tissue box size or larger) File folders posterboard

When in doubt throw it out! If you don’t know where something goes put it in the trash!

Be green and be happy!!!!!!!!!!!
