General Meeting Strategy Hold meetings 3 times a year Still planning to have 3 day meetings  Should we move to 2 day meetings? Continue the tradition of asking member organizations to host meetings (we are cheap!) Meeting agendas will transition to being driven more by committee work and less by organizational issues We will begin charging meeting fees to cover our costs

Proposed Meeting Dates May 27-29, Location TBD  Conflicts with AMIA iHealth in Boston  Memorial day vacations  Health Datapalooza May 31-June 3 in DC Sept 28-30, Location TBD  Government ad hoc meetings at the end of the budget year  First part of Oct is hard because of the new budget year  MedInfo August 21-22

Near Term Goals – before next meeting Administrative goals  Enroll members (benefactors, associate, individual)  Who do we want to focus on? How many?  Put permanent Board of Directors in place  Determine HSPC staff that we need, and hire people  Promote use of Confluence and web tools  Confluence  Website  Google Groups  Continued development of web site, branding, logo, etc.  Commitment, plans, strategies from organizations about their plans for HSPC  Opportunity to make connections and relationships  Wheat meetings and events does HSPC want to be at during the next year?  Organize the technical committees  Work with HL7 to create a process for approving an “official” list of FHIR profiles  Pursue financial and logistic support for HSPC from C4MI Technical  Publish Beta Version of technical specification  Move to HL7 FHIR DSTU 2.0  Create and make publicly available good, simple FHIR profiles  Get HSPC compliant services and application in production use  Establish a beta version of an “App Store”? – A plan?  Prioritized list of services that folks need?  Begin planning for compliance or certification testing?  Others?
