The Jurors

The jury foreman, who is somewhat preoccupied with his duties; tries to maintain order and peace in the jury room.

A meek and relatively quiet man who is at first overshadowed by others but finds his voice as the discussion goes on.

A strongly opinionated man who is both stubborn and has a temper. Likes to force his opinions on others.

A man of wealth and position, who feels that he is a bit above the others. Wants to stick to the facts.

A young man who is from the slums, just like the kid on trial. Takes the case very seriously.

A man who honestly wants to do his best on the jury, but who takes time coming to a decision. He listens to everyone else first.

A loud man who has better places to be than a jury. A bit sarcastic and a bit too quick to jump to opinions and conclusions.

A thoughtful man who will not let himself be pushed around. Wants to consider all sides of the case instead of rushing to a decision.

An old man who knows that his time has passed. Wants to be strong, but perhaps lacks the strength to stand up for himself now.

A bigoted man who isn’t shy about voicing his opinions. Angry and bitter, he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

An immigrant who values the ideas that America is supposed to stand for, including a fair judicial system.

A salesman whose mind is continually elsewhere. Tries to be a good guy, but it is obvious he really doesn’t care about this case at first.
