1. INTRODUCTION This document was created to give the client an actual visual of what the site would look like; thus describing the look and feel of the site... Before the site is created, the client can see what colors and fonts will be used and the layout of contents. The design was developed with the client’s input, and the client suggestions of what content the homepage and inner pages should have. But, the client did give the designers the freedom to create. 2. LOGO DESIGN The logo represent the client’s identity, it’s distinctive and not like most logos of well known organizations. The logo will work well across a range of applications i.e. on a business card, letterheads, brochures or website and will look good if reproduced on a photocopier The logo typeface is limited and is modern and clean. Color Section The color used was taken from the logo, and more hues were added. he color green related to balance and blues represents calm feelings. The color green is the color of nature and it also means learning, growth and harmony. Green with blue can produce echoes of nature, meaning water and forest and can denote new beginnings and growth. Font Selection The font properties are used to describe the desired appearance of text in the document. A bold Alba font was used for the main heading to show it importance. The Alba font was used because of its childlike appearance. To unify the headings, Alba fonts were also used on the sub headings, but with a lighter color. 3. WEB SITE DESIGN The intention of the web site is to obtain information. The purpose is to information both parents and professionals of the different aspects of children development. It’s also to bring awareness of the significance of early learning experiences. It main purpose is also to guide teachers and parents through knowledge. The site will be a homepage with all the necessary links and information. The page design will have a color scheme that compliment each other. The layout will be simple but creative. The navigation will be user friendly, it’s easy to use and a global navigation will be on all pages with sub links. With a consistent layout, the user will not be confused and will be able to navigate through this site very easily, making it very user friendly. The site will be easy to find, navigate, read and quick to download. The layout and design will be consistent throughout the site. The look of the status indicator will not change, and it will allow the user to know what page they are on at all times. The backgrounds will not obscure the text, because the dark-colored text on a light-colored background will make it easier for the user to read. The text will be aligning to the left and the standard font’s size will be used. All graphic images, typefaces, headings, link-colors and background colors will remain consistent throughout the web site. Consistency will project a professional image. Navigation and Links All links would be clearly labeled and easy to read. The colors were carefully designed not to overpower. The default link colors in your text, might be used, since there are familiar to users (blue text usually indicates an unvisited link and purple indicates a visited link). The status indicator will be boldfaced and a littler larger font size, set between small vertical lines. And the text links will be unique, the will not look the same as any other text.

The client outline of the homepage was incorporated into the design. The overall design was a success, because of careful planning and feedback from the client. he design of the content layout, the choice of color and fonts, all helped to tie the design together.
