What Makes a leader ? Leaders believe that dreams can be a reality. Leaders have vision and motivate others to reach for their goals. Leaders make a difference. Leaders search for ways to improve their organization. Leaders are risk-takers, willing to embrace change and learn from mistakes.

Leaders Model the Way Leaders create standards of excellence and lead by example. Leaders create opportunity for victory. Leaders establish values and encourage others to do the same.

Leaders Encourage the Heart Leaders recognize individual contributions. Leaders make every team member feel like a hero. Leaders have a nurturing spirit.

Leaders Inspire a Shared Vision Leaders truly believe they can make a difference. Leaders have a vision and maintain a positive atitude. Leaders inspire others to commit to a common vision.

Leaders Enable Others to Act Leaders develop relationships based on trust. Leaders build spirited teams. Leaders share information and create an atmosphere of mutual respect. Leaders empower others to make each person feel important.
