Blue Sky Involve promotes leadership development and environmental stewardship through employee volunteerism and contributions to worthy community organizations and schools.
What is Blue Sky Involve? Employee-driven JCI global volunteer program Supports employee volunteer efforts aligned with: Environmental stewardship and/or Leadership development Grants $1,000 to approved projects Staffs projects with a minimum of 3 employees Helps local non-profit organizations or schools 3
4 What qualifies a Blue Sky Involve project? Project must meet the following eligibility requirements: Involvement by at least three employees Supports environmental stewardship or leadership development Helps a registered non-profit or educational institution Engages employees as active volunteers Applies to projects outside of Milwaukee or Plymouth headquarters areas
5 The application process Applications are accepted online March 1 – June 30 If project is approved, applicant will be notified via and project can begin $1000 grant payment will be sent either via check or wire transfer Wire transfer details are required for all applications outside the U.S and Canada Complete project by the end of December Upon project completion, Share your Success Story online

9 Project Examples Durango, Mexico — Promote environmental awareness by sponsoring a tree planting activity in the “Miguel Hidalgo School,” where many of the manufacturing employees reside. Sao Paulo, Bazil — Promote social, physical and intellectual development of children and adolescents at high personal and social risk in the poorest regions near the SP plant. Conduct workshops to teach income generating skills in handcrafting of patina and mosaics. Medley, FL — Clean the coastline along the Bear Cut Nature Preserve on Key Biscayne, which serves as a habitat for mangroves, a fossil reef, nesting sea turtles and a barrier to oncoming hurricanes. Hannover, Germany — Provide employees with the opportunity to develop leadership skills by integration of handicapped people into sport activities. Learn from each other, develop social skills.
