We Are… South Forsyth South Forsyth High School Dual Enrollment Options ACCEL Programs that provide qualified Georgia high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to earn college credit while jointly enrolled in a Georgia public high school and a college, university or technical institution. A high school student cannot receive assistance from the Accel Program for postsecondary courses that are part of a technical Certificate or Diploma program of study. Move on When Ready -MOWR MOWR provides high school students the opportunity to “jump start” postsecondary education during the high school years. Once a student meets the admission requirements and is accepted to a technical college, 2-year college, or 4- year university, the high school student will be free to “move on” earlier to the next educational level.

We Are… South Forsyth South Forsyth High School Dual Enrollment Options ACCEL  Can take all classes on college campus  Can take classes at SFHS and on college campus  ACCEL credit hours do not count toward HOPE totals. MOWR  Student cannot attend classes at SFHS  Students have to take a total of 12 semester hours each semester  MOWR credit hours do not count toward HOPE totals.

Once you decide that you are interested in Dual Enrollment, see your counselor immediately to review the eligibility check list. Start to research colleges that you would like to take classes at, to find out what requirements you have to meet. Some local schools are Lanier Tech, North Ga, Kennesaw, Ga Perimeter, and Ga State to name a few.

We Are… South Forsyth South Forsyth High School How do I apply? Log on to the college’s website and complete the application for dual enrollment, submit it, and pay the application fee. Instructions for submitting your transcripts are on the next slide. Make sure you have taken the SAT or ACT to get the college’s required score, and have those scores sent to the college(s). You will need to contact College Board (SAT) and ACT to have these scores officially sent to the college(s). SFHS does not send SAT/ACT scores.

We Are… South Forsyth South Forsyth High School Requesting your transcript To request an official transcript online, please go to: Step 1: Click on My Payments Plus link and submit your payment. A new window will open with the My Payments Plus website. Log in to My Payments Plus; Scroll down and click on the plus sign (+) by Counseling; Next, click on the plus (+) sign next to current student transcript requests; Choose the quantity and click on the box under Pay (You may pay for up to 10); Follow the payment process and submit your payment; Step 2: If your payment is not approved, DO NOT complete the on-line request. Please see Ms. Hall in the East Hall Counseling Office for payment options. If your payment is approved, close out of My Payments Plus to return to the Zoho Creator Transcript Request Form. Complete the on-line form completely, according to your college’s admissions requirements.
