Session Objectives and Success Criteria Objective: Participants will understand how to access and use code.org to learn basic computer programing skills. Success Criteria: – I can access the Hour of Code at – I can write basic computer code.

Hour of Code 2013 Hour of Code movement resulted in… 37 million students trying computer science! Over 1 billion lines of code written! Offered free, open source and available worldwide! 2014 Hour of Code: Dec. 8-14,

More than 1 hour? Extended Hour of Code: 3 levels of elementary courses (K-1, 2-3, 4-5). Free workshops for elementary teachers. Middle school programming activities for math and science classes.
