Lowell Myers  Born: January 26, 1930  Died: November 7, 2006(Brain aneurysm)  Born in Chicago.  Lost his hearing when he was 10, His parents are both Deaf.

Why he’s famous.? Not only was he one of the best Deaf Lawyers. He also made a Book titled “The Law and the Deaf”. He also made a movie “Dummy” about his first case he had worked Mr. Lang's murder case.

Family Information  He has a daughter named Lynda Myers

Him as a Deaf Person.  How was he treated as a Deaf person.? He was discriminated against. They were saying” He wont be able to do much in his life not being able to hear.”But he kept to it and he is successful now.  What impact did he make.? He fought for Deaf peoples rights to drive. And he inspired Deaf kids that they could be what they wanted just try.

Interesting Information  He fought and won 17 cases.  His first case was Donald Lang’s Murder of a Prostitute.  He was also an Accountant.  Graduated from Lake View High school, Received degrees from Roosevelt University and University of Chicago.  Law degree from John Marshall.
