Metaphorical Self Portrait

What both I and the AP Portfolio Readers are looking for… 1.Excellence 2.Verve 3.Imagination 4.Inventiveness 5.Confidence 6.Student Voice 7.Risk-Taking

Points to Ponder – Big Ideas How can imagery suggest meaning and help define who I am? What imagery, objects, animals, or pictures will best represent my Metaphorical Self Portrait? How can medium effect the overall understanding of an artwork? How can I use imagery and metaphor to visually define who I am?

16 x 20 Deadline, Critique, Self-Evaluation, and Artist Statement: 11/7 END of class – online critique over weekend via Twitter. I will collect sketchbooks Monday 11/10.
