Comparative Analysis of TIA Investments in ETA and Low Income Areas Social Equity Advisory Committee Meeting July, 15, 2011 Friday, July 15, 2011

Identifying Low-Income Areas  Area Median Income (AMI) for Households in the 10-County Atlanta Region = $56,225  30% below AMI = Low- Income.  50% below AMI = Very Low- Income.  80% below AMI = Extremely Low-Income.

Identifying Equitable Target Areas (ETA)  ETAs are based on five parameters: seniors, poverty, minorities, education attainment and median housing values.  Areas with an ETA index are identified as ETA Communities.
