Prescraft, Bafut This is one of the production centers of Prescraft where Musical instruments and other items are produced. In this centre, we have four blind people who are doing a marvelous job. Below are sample pictures on how they are producing hand rattle, with juju beans.

To begin, he selects the juju bean seeds prepares them for the cutting of the edges.

He uses his leg to support the seed while cutting one of the ends.

After cutting the edges, he uses a knife and a stick to beat out the inner soft part of the seed.

After removing the soft part, he heats a little sharp iron and bore holes where he will pass the fibre.

The next process is the weaving of the rattle. Fibre is being supplied to him by the centre. During weaving, he uses every part of his body

Every part of his body is a tool for working. He uses his mouth and hands to be sure the rattle is well made.

This is the end product, ready for the customer.
