What have you hidden in your Heart? Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

What was hidden? “Thy word” Why? Why not the words of someone else. Because Gods Word is

God’s word is perfect Jas. 1:25

Because we are to live by it. Matt. 4:4

Because it is powerful Heb. 4:12; Rom. 1:16

Because it is truth. John 17:17; John 8:32.

Because it furnishes us completely 2 Tim. 3:16,17; 2 Pet. 1:3;

Who did the hiding? Thy word have I hidden in Mine heart We must put it there! 1. Study it. 2 Tim.2:15 2. Search it. John 5:39;Acts 17:11 3. Receive it. Acts 2:41 ; John 12:48 4.Continue in it. 1 Tim.4:16

Where was it hidden? In mine heart...A special place for that which is precious. When we put God’s word in our heart, We will obey God. Rom. 6: Let the word of Christ dwell in you.
