Why Thoughts Are Important Thoughts determine actions – Matthew 15:19 – “it is a law of life that, if a man thinks on something often enough & long enough, he will come to the stage when he cannot stop thinking about it.” (William Barclay) Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he..” Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”

Think On These Things Things that are true – “loving the truth, speaking the truth, truthful” (Thayer) – John 17:17 cf. Psalm 119:11 – In word and deed – Ephesians 4:25 – In statements – To promises – In relationships
