Directions for the Sci Rev Collage Activity Find a partner Go to Click on office 365 login page Enter username and password (log-in information) Click on ‘waffle’ icon Click ‘PowerPoint Online’ Click ‘New Blank Document’ In the upper right-hand corner there is a large, red ‘share’ button. Click it. Type in the cbsd address of your partner and then click ‘share.’ Now you and your partner can collaborate on the collage activity simultaneously. What should be on my collage? AFTER you read the section on the Scientific Revolution (Ch. 12, section 4), create a collage that includes the following: Title: Scientific Revolution Pictures/labels of people: Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton Picture that illustrates the heliocentric theory (label the picture as heliocentric theory as well) Picture of a telescope and 4 other images that you believe reflect the Scientific Revolution.
What else? You will also write a paragraph (5 sentence minimum) explaining each of the pictures on the front of your collage. You should explain the contributions the people on your collage made, the definition of the heliocentric theory, and explain why you chose the pictures that you did. How does each relate to the Scientific Revolution?
