Thesis Question Is the part of the moral theory family Utilitarianism?

Definition utilitarianism as a doctrine that the useful is the good and the determining consideration of right conduct should be the usefulness of its consequence

Arguments That ethics is “the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc

Arguments Utilitarianism is concerned with arriving at the most good for all in relation to a group.

Arguments Utilitarian theory have the concept that the proper course of action is the one that maximizes the overall happiness. It is therefore a form of consequentialism

Arguments According to John Stuart Mill, Bentham’s successor which is the leader of the utilitarian's, he stated that Utilitarianism is often described by the phrase "the greatest good for the greatest number of people", and is also known as "the greatest happiness principle".

Arguments According to Austin Cline, 2007, he stated that Virtue theory place less emphasis on which rules people should follow and instead focus on helping people develop good character traits, such as kindness and generosity.

Arguments According to utilitarian’s the only thing that makes an act morally right or wrong is whether or not it has beneficial consequence, however on the other hand virtue ethics is of the idea that a morally right act in some situation calls for a moral decision is what a virtuous person would do in that situation

Arguments Utilitarian theory however stated that if the overall happiness is good then the action is good.

Arguments A healthy person walks into a hospital with broken fingers
