EU AEO RECOGNISION PILOT PROJECT LEUSENI BCP/ MOLDOVA-ROMANIA BORDER as from 1 July 2015
WHO CAN BENEFIT? EU AEO holders of the Certificate AEOS and AEOF playing a role as exporter and/or transport operator in the supply chain of a consignment that cross the Moldovan- Romanian border at Leuseni –Albita BCP. The Pilot Project will be applicable for entrance to Moldova HOW THE PROJECT WORKS? Project is based on cross-border cooperation mechanism implemented by Moldova and Romania customs. Thus, on exit from EU, Romanian Customs identifies the consignments belonging to valid EU AEO certificates, and fill in the Accompanying form that is being handed in to the respective driver. The Accompanying form is being passed over by the driver to the Moldova Customs for recognition.
