H ello! 안녕하세요 ! Fellowship Program for Senior Government Officials of of South Sudan Intern Coordinator East Africa Team Yena Huh 허 예 나

Introduction to this course Hello, my name is Yena Huh, and I am an intern coordinator in the East Africa Team. During the last 5 months, I have joined 15 fellowship programs for diverse countries of East Africa including Mozambique, Tanzania, Egypt, and South Sudan. Among the programs, I found “Public Sector Management for Senior Government Officials” for South Sudan fellows to be the most impressive. It was a chance for me to deepen my knowledge in the fields of Korea’s public sector and development history. 1 Brief Introduction

Moreover, each and every one of South Sudan government officials’ passionate and sincere attitude towards the programs allowed this course to serve as an effective opportunity for developing certain areas in South Sudan’s public sector management. The following pages will cover the contents of this course. My hope is that every KOICA Fellowship program held by KOICA will greatly develop many fields as well as the cooperative relationships between Korea and the partner countries. 2 Introduction to this fellowship program
