The Toys The Toy’s Packaging

What is the problem ?

What kind of Research?

Ethnography Ethnography is the study of social connection and behaviors that happen within organizations and communities.

Why use Ethnography?

Ethnography is usually showed to gain a deep understanding of the client’s target market in order to apply a customer-centered approach to the planned progress of the client’s brand in the context of a complex dynamic system. Have 3 Method

Interview For interview is want to know what the respondent said about choices of toys, handling of old toys and toy’s packaging and environment issue

Advantages of interview It are particularly useful for getting the story behind how the parents choose the toys, how do they handle the old toys and the toy packaging and be like friendly environment to get the data.

Disadvantages of interview It is hard to find the respondent that he or she is the patient person. Time consuming to find the respondent like to willing to do interview for the issue

Planning of Interview Respondents were 10 parents, aged 20 to 50 years, In the shopping mall when the school day was over. Interview questions include four sections demography, buy motivation, handle the old toys and packaging and environment issue.

Observation The interview and observation is different way what the respondent say and what the respondent do.

Advantages of Observation The contexts, relationships and behavior of the toy can direct observe the situation. do not have to ask people for their views.

Disadvantages of Observation We what people choose the toys and buy the toys but we don’t know why they are doing it. can be time consuming and use a lot of spirit

Planning of Observation The places for observation are Great Eastern Mall, Suria KlCC and Maluri Jusco compare the toy department store and the certain toy store. All in the afternoon, because parent most of the time will bring their children to shop the top shop.

Project Techniques to know the feeling that cannot to express in words.

Advantages of Project technique enables us to reach what might be called the tacit or hidden feelings about what is the children dream toys. can help people loosen up to enjoy, build trust to express their expecting toward toys

Disadvantages of Project Technique may get different interpretations of the same data for the report issue

Planning of Project Technique to ask the children to draw their dream toys and to make the latent needs how their future can be changed for better or what are the toy is the children dream about.

Research Finding

Interview the cheaper toy store compare with the expensive toy store to buy the toys their children will change of interest very quickly Educational value. to donate the old toys to other family members or friends because the toys no longer suitable to their kids and don’t waste if the toys is still useful these still in good condition. the parents buy to many toys in low quality toys and low budget with no specific time to buy toys occasionally.

Observation

Project Technique 7 out of 10 children cant describe their dream toy and don’t have any imagination, expectation, and creative to draw their toy their parents is control them. Parents are very frugal when spending on toys for their children. Instead of constantly buying new toys, parents would give their children an electronic device to play with the save on expenses.
