14 Decembe 2010Institute for Aerospace Technology4 Supporting aerospace innovation regionally & nationally - providing a pipeline from our fundamental (TRL 1-3) to applied (TRL 4-6) research To support three key elements: –Enhance basic research infrastructure (Aerospace Research Centre), manufacturing equipment & measurement techniques for materials/ structures (CAMERA) –New infrastructure for applied research & development via the Aerospace Technology Centre –Increased business engagement & knowledge transfer activities, supported by dedicated Project & Business Manager Total investment will be £9.3million, with £3.6million from European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
