Global Citizenship as a Graduate Attribute: an ESRC Seminar Series Led by the University of Wolverhampton with partners from: The Institute of Education, London University, University of the Arts, University College London and University of West London. We aim to generate a theorised direction for global citizenship as a graduate attribute and an underpinning pedagogic direction for its encouragement. We anticipate that these directions will be sufficiently expansive to grapple with the dynamic and complex interrelationship between social differences and commonalities among humans. ILE Project Leader: Professor Glynis Cousin Project website:

Disparities in Student Attainment (DISA) Project The research explores the attainment gap between white and BME students through: data collection from students engaging lecturers in action research to make changes to modules and evaluate the impact of those changes collection of naturally occurring institutional data to help build a comprehensive picture of the attainment gap, to identify area of best practice and to roll out best practice. ILE Project Leader: Professor Glynis Cousin Project website:

Learning to Teach Inclusively 30 credit ‘tailor-able’ module entitled ‘teaching inclusively’ aimed at teaching and support staff as part of accredited CPD The module will reflect four key areas of inclusive practice: curriculum design curriculum delivery assessment and management Overarching aim is to facilitate the development of inclusive practitioners across the sector and to enhance the academic engagement of all students.
