10 Conclusions Pakistan is rich in Livestock assets. Its number is increasing at a rate which is higher than the growth rate of population. It may saturate after some time. Crop sector is facing the same problem. Milk production is the largest contributing activity which belongs to rural community. Almost every agricultural household has the milk producing animals.
11 Recommendations Introduction of better breeds in usual environment. Artificial Insemination (AI) Provision of better Veterinary facilities. Small Scale Units for processing of milk and other dairy products. Reduction in the role of middle man in milk delivery chain. Create awareness through training of the Agriculture Households. Credit facilities. Create “Success Model” and multiply it.
