EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) New Q6 Edge Order Form New Q6 Edge Order Form

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) New Q6 Edge Order Form New Q6 Edge Order Form

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Q6 Edge 2.0 Q6 Edge 2.0 Launch Date: March 2015 Dual plate caster arms Single caster fork design New Quantum Tire Rim Black Casters & Drive Wheels Standard 6 mph Same overall width & length as current Q6 Edge

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Re-Designed Plastic Shrouding –Updated front shroud with new Q –Updated rear shroud –New Snap-on Plastics Dual Bladed Caster Arms –Updated look compared to the tubular caster arms –Now in black to increase aesthetic appeal of new colors Q6 Edge 2.0 Aesthetics

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Q6 Edge 2.0 Q6 Edge 2.0 Updated Plastic Shrouding New Shroud Colors Available

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) New Single Stage Worm Drive Motors –More efficient gear box –One gear as opposed to three –Increased speed –Less failure points –Two seals as opposed to five –Increased gear ratio –Small brake, less power draw Improved Handling –Units equipped with the new motor are much more responsive –Improved switch driving Q6 Edge 2.0 Improved Handling

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Q6 Edge 2.0 Improved Hardware New Hardware for known Failure Points –Welded in shock mount that cannot back out –Using Loctite to ensure the hardware does not loosen –Custom bolt on the rear with Loctite New Motor Mount –One hand installation –Horizontal motor installation as opposed to vertical –Custom cotter pin to hold motor in place

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Allows end-user to drive Edge 2.0 at 3 mph while elevated at 10” Edge 2.0 with iLevel reduces the STF height to 18” Available at 14.5” Wide x 14.5” Deep Introduction to iLevel Introduction to iLevel Launch Date: March 2015

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) iLevel technology is mounted to the motor mount –Suspension is limited to allow an end-user to climb up to a 1.5” threshold –Two suspension inhibitors are mounted to the unit –Switches are mounted to let the electronics know if iLevel is engaged iLevel Advantages –Huge psychological factor, especially for pediatrics –Allows endusers to communicate with peers while at walking speed –Multiple advantages in social settings Introduction to iLevel Introduction to iLevel

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) The Suspension inhibitor is the piece that reduces the articulation of the suspension –Suspension is limited to allow up an enduser to climb up to a 1.5” threshold –Limited suspension still allows the endusers to have a more comfortable ride –The “boots” always have tension on them iLevel Components Suspension Inhibitor iLevel Components Suspension Inhibitor

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) iLevel Components iLevel Components The switch mount connects to suspension inhibitors –The switch mount incorporates the switch that will inform the unit when iLevel is engaged This cable guider mounts from upper frame of the unit and routes and guides the iLevel cable from the seating sub-frame through the front of the base

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) iLevel Components iLevel Components iLevel is engaged and disengaged through a cable system –Two cables are routed through the front of the unit to the suspension inhibitors on each side of the unit iLevel Engager –Located on the center of the seat sub frame –There is a tab located on the lift which engages and disengages iLevel

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Do’s –Do use on flat compacted terrain –Indoor use –Limited outdoor use Don’t –Do not try to climb any threshold that exceeds 1.5” –Avoid uneven terrain, gravel, hills, and fields iLevel Do’s & Don’ts

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) Why Switch To New Lift Mechanism? - Increased Speed: Lift speed will now be 24 seconds - Increased Lift Capacity: Future weight capacities increased - Increased Durability - Improved Wire Routing New Lift Mechanism

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) iLevel Electronics iLevel Electronics Q-logic 2 AAM only Firmware update required for modules in system NE+ Under Evaluation

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) iLevel Indications and Warnings iLevel Indications and Warnings When the iLevel system is fully engaged the client will see a “eye” icon in the green status indicator. Unit uses iLevel profile 3.0 mph If iLevel is active and the client is in a profile which max speed is lower than the above values, the iLevel speed is not used. This profile is not field programmable iLevel active, but client is in low speed profile iLevel active, client is in higher speed profile. iLevel profile speed is used

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) If the iLevel feature is not fully engaged, the client will be alerted by a fault indication on the LCD screen. If this occurs the unit will be defaulted to 25% speed of the profile the client is using. iLevel Indications & Warnings

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) If a client wishes to have the stability of the iLevel system, but would like the 25% reduced speed, the iLevel feature can be disabled. Suspension locks still engage. Never uses iLevel speed when disabled, 25% speed reduction when seat is elevated. If one suspension lock is not engaged, warnings are not given to client when disabled. iLevel Enable/Disable

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) The key I & II buttons on the Q-logic 2 hand control can be programmed to operate the elevate function with iLevel. This gives the client a direct access to the elevate function without the need of using mode commands to enter the seating profile. Programming key I or II to disabled activate functionality. Can only be used with the elevate function. Only available in units with iLevel. iLevel Key I & II Programming

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) 4-Button Actuator Control 5 to 1 switch adaptor through AAM Programming hand control mode jack as 1- switch iLevel Electronics Secondary Switch Options

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) iLevel has the ability to latch the elevate seating function separate from the other available seat functions This gives the client the ability to raise or lower the elevate option without continuous activation of a switch Elevate Specific Latch Operation Programming

EDU/ , Rev B (1HR) With the launch of apples ios 7, a feature in the accessibility menu was added. This new feature is called “switch control”. This new functionality gives the ability to add a external Bluetooth switch to navigate through the device. New iPhone & iPad Fuctionality
