Presentation transcript:

The characters that appear in Mythology are Gods, Goddesses, Mythological Creatures, and Minor Gods. They are the main reason Greek Mythology is fiction rather than the events that happen in the stories. The characters are the ones who make decisions and have the power to change the situation that they are in. They make the story what it is so we should know more about them.

Who are the major gods? There are six main gods, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, Hermes, Dionysus, and Apollo.

Who are the major Goddesses? The main six are Hera, Artemis, Hestia, Demeter, Athena, and Aphrodite.

Who are the minor Gods? They are not really minor just not the most recognized ones because after all they are all gods.

Who are the creatures in Greek Mythology? They are also characters in the whole scheme of Greek Mythology. Whether good or bad they contribute to the story.

Having these questions answered lets us know more about the cultures of Greek myths and beliefs. When having a better understanding of what other people believe we can appreciate it more. That is why it is important to know about Greek mythology.
