What can we do to impove the situation?

What exactly is Malaria? Where does it exist mainly? The Problems The Organisations What can we do against it? Interesting Facts Time for Questions Sources End

Malaria is a fever-disease transmitted by mosquitos In the first stadium it can easily be confused with a normal chill There are several types of malaria

There are three types of malaria -Malaria tertiana incubation time: 8 to 20 days classic remittent fever, 2 days fever, 1 day without fever -Malaria quartana incubation time: 3 to 7 weeks classic remittent fever, 2 days fever, 2 days without fever -Malaria tropica incubation time: 7 to 14 days irregular „fever-periods“

As the map will show malaria is a big problem basically in the whole middle of Africa!

It cannot always be diagnosed early enough Some of the pharmaceuticals don‘t have an effect any more because the causative organisms are already immune The people don‘t have money to pay the pharmaceutical Sometimes there are even not enough of the pills to cure them Unhygienic conditions Not enough hospitals Some people don‘t want to recognize that they are ill It is nearly impossible to eliminate it

And many others…

You can buy a net in the web. For approximately 10 $ you can administer a mosquito-net to save a human‘s life as the mosquitos are mainly active at night Put a banner on your website! The more people know about the situation, the better it is! Donate money to officially and serious organisations like “Ärzte ohne Grenzen“, even if it is not inevitable used for malaria-victims, the money will definitely help people to have a better life

Did you know that only female mosquitos are jabbing? Even in Germany we have around 1000 cases of malaria a year Malaria is one of the oldest diseases in the world Recently, the number of malaria- victims jumped up to a day! Malaria is a problem of about 90 states in the world
