2 Background – Strategy Mandate: to protect consumers from non-typhoidal foodborne salmonellosis. Coverage: domestic, imported and exported food. How? By effective food regulatory programmes. Strategic goals: (1)Maintain at least the 30% reduction in reported cases achieved to end June 2014 (2)Support market access.
